This soup is not salty,
but it has got too much pepper!
In the beginning, the mandarin makes a protest, to be knocked down by the pepper immediately. This is not the pink pepper type, this is black pepper which burns the tongue, the palate and the throat. There may be some use for it to cleanse out the nose in case you have a cold. Amber and tonka are desperately trying to alleviate the sharpness, but not a chance!
This test took place at 3 o'clock in the morning. I should have read some reviews of other members, especially Kankuro's, then I would have gone back to sleep sooner and not now have a headache.
Definitely, I was duped by the pretty bottle and packaging!

Why doesn't the top note smell on my skin as nice as it does on paper, cotton and co? It is a chemical mistery!

In the heart it is flowery, powdery absolutely beautiful and the more the fragrance develops more mmmmmh! The base is just yummi! Amber, musk and cocoa with a berry for decoration. More and more dark chocolate appears.
And all of that without indulging in sticky sweetness. A gourmand made for me!
And the durability is sensational!
If the head of the bitch would harmonize better with my skin, 100 '% would be safe!

Sweet Dreams (Infusion d'Iris - Part 2)
This is my sleep good, feel good, cozy perfume. I just love it, could baaaathe in it.
Iris and a hint of violet, more I usually don't smell before succumbing to sleep. Every night, as I am surrounding myself with it - sometimes I light up the candle too - the whole room smells good. If I am not already sleeping by the time the base notes come out, there is a touch of neroli and something woody. But all in all, the scent is full of the wonderful powdery and creamy iris.
There is really no comparison with the Eau de Parfum, in my opinion. These are two entirely different scents! While the EDP is built around the orange, the EDT stages the iris. So, the EDP is warm and spicy. This one, however, is fresh and powdery.
Longevity is not great with either one. Strangely enough, the Eau de Toilette lasts longer on my skin.
And now, have a nice little dream!

Infusion d'Iris - Part 1
This scent starts citric and fresh, but without the lemon and bergamot. I smell a freshly peeled orange. The galbanum makes it tart and spicy. "Infusion d'Iris" Eau de Parfum radiates an incredible warmth as if it were the "Nice Weather God" himself. The image of a holiday in Tuscany comes to mind.
As expected, the Iris now takes the floor. But it is only a guest appearance. The scent, in my opinion, is built around the spicy orange. Really, I would have expected a bit more of the powder of Iris!
Unfortunately my skin does not warm up to this Prada treasure and I hurry to look for the basenotes. Cedar and a hint of incense gently round out the Eau de Parfum.
Sadly, after only 2 hours this "magic" subsides on my skin ... but then, I have discovered an alternative for myself, the Eau de Toilette.
