I am dazzled by the beauty of this exquisite blend. Tobacco, vanilla, cinnamon, apricot and honey in a silk velvet scent that is so smoothly addictive one is bound to give in. One of the very best perfumes under the Tom Ford label. Its creator, Olivier Gillotin, is also the man who has given us another one of the very best in this line, namely Tobacco Oud.

I am absolutely mesmerised by this perfume. One of the best oud and leather combinations! Quite distinctive and effective. It slightly reminds me of Zegna's Peruvian Ambrette. Quite discreet and long-lasting at the same time. The ideal scent of elegance and affluence!

I simply love this Oud variation! Outrageously, it's been discontinued. There is something fresh and spicy that gives the Oud in it a much more youthful appearance. It has an addictive quality, and it lingers in one's nostrils long after the initial spray. Better still, on a scarf or another garment. Divine!

I must have been struck by a divine inspiration to order this recent creation of François Demachy without having tried it first, simply based upon my previous experience with his perfumes, as well as with the house of Dior in its exclusive range. This is a wonderful blend! It combines the best in Purple Oud and Oud Ispahan, plus a certain je ne sais quoi that makes it irresistible to me. A shade darker and less sugary than Oud Ispahan, it retains the peppery youthfulness of Purple Oud, and the result is exquisite.

I have just tried this, and it is strikingly similar to the Cuir by YSL recently discontinued. It is rather enjoyable, powdery and spicy, but in a very mild manner, so it is definitely not going to attract any attraction, not unless you splash a lot. And even then, I would very much doubt it.
