A memory from my childhood
It's pouring outside. I'm lying comfortably on my grandfather's old, dusty sofa, staring at the raindrops sinking down the window, listening to the rain. I've just finished reading a chapter of that old classic.... Next to me, an almost empty cup of my grandma's specialty, hot milk with white chocolate. While still enjoying the taste of the last droplets in my mouth, my eyelids get heavier and heavier and heavier.... I dream.

Andean deer or piña colada after all?
The Andean deer (Hippocamelus) is a genus of deer (Cervidae) living in the South American Andes. They are also called forked deer or huemuls (singular huemul). There are two species: the North Andean deer (Hippocamelus antisensis (d'Orbigny, 1834)), which lives in Peru, western Bolivia and northern Chile, and the South Andean deer (Hippocamelus bisulcus (Molina, 1782)), which is native to the central and southern regions of Chile and Argentina.

So yes, the fragrance smells "musky", as if inspired by young, wild Andean deer, but that's not all. It is the perfect blend of easily wearable and sneaky seductive. This comes mainly from the fruity effervescence of pineapple, which wasn't even listed as a fragrance note. In combination with the milky-creamy massoia lactone, an alkyllactone that comes from the bark of the massoia tree, the fragrance creates a thoroughly delicious composition that reminds me somewhat of (Virgin) Piña Colada.

It is cozy and sensual, perfect for "rainy sundays" in bed. You can definitely perceive the synthetic musk and some jasmine is also part of the composition, so it is slightly animalic. Unconstrained sex appeal mixed with a fruity frivolity.
