The drydown is magical and it lasts all day on my skin. Hyper realistic but still artful perfumery. Get your nose on this one!!!! Can not wait to try more creations of the perfumer/nose Olga. I sampled this Xerjoff creation this morning and immediately was reminded of one of my all time favorites by Estee Lauder. Luckily I do own "beyond paradise" and I sprayed them side by side. They are twins. Beyond paradise is slightly more creamy in the opening and overall the flowers a little sharper than in "save me" but ones the scent sits on your skin for some minutes, you barely can make up a difference. I find beyond paradise having a stronger silage and longevity therefore I am happy that this scent gets kind of homage but modern niche house. But I would never go for the much more expensive version. Unless they make beyond paradise disappear from the counters. its my favorite tropical floral and it's incredible.

Ich hatte mir eine Abfuellung von Iris Malika gegoennt, einfach weil ich interessiert war, die Abfuellung hab ich erhalten und natuerlich zeitnah getestet. Der erste Eindruck war ok, aber nichts was mich sofort aus den Socken schmiss. Aber eine halbe bis 1 stunde spaeter erhielt ich eine grosse Ueberraschung. Der Drydown von Iris Malika erinnert naemlich stark an meine geliebte Elle von Xerjoff. Ich habe den Duft und dafuer unsagbar viel Geld hingeblaettert. Das bereue ich natuerlich im Keinsten, den Elle und ich sind eine grosse Liebe. Aber fuer alle, die diesen Duft auch mag und eine guenstige Alternative sucht, der sollte sich den Iris Malika mal zur Nase fuehren. Achtung absolut kein Duftzwilling aber wie gesagt der drydown ist himmlisch aehnlich...

In the past 2 years I discovered my love for rose perfumes. I have found incredible and unique creations and my fragrance collection now has a rather big "rose" section. I also have the complete sample set of Francesca's perfumes in house since almost the same time. First one, which was welcomed to my home was "under my skin", secondly "Devine Perversion" , This year I couldn't resist anymore and bought "Sex and the Sea", while sampling FB fragrances before the definite order, I happen to spray "Angel's Dust" and I can barely explain what happened... maybe my nose learnt as much as I did in the past years about perfumes... but it suddenly felt like coming home, like the end of a long journey. Do not misunderstand me... all my rose-fragrances are very close to my heart. But this one.. it just hit in, I do not know how I could have slept over this one for such a long time, while the sample was patiently waiting in my drawer. Maybe I got used to the strong and competent and everlasting Bianchi DNA, maybe I forgot to sample Angel's Dust in the past, anyway, I believe this rose is a true, sexy, sensual, honest, dark rose, warm, spicy but also still fresh and sooooo alive. I had "Portrait of a Lady" on my wishlist. I crossed it out. Not because I wouldn't like it, I do, but "Angel's Dust" I truly love. It is more gentle than POAL (if you can put gentle and FB in one sentence) It is so breathtaking. and I want to smell it every day since my full bottle arrived. For all the rose lovers, please give this one a sniff.

I am all in for this fragrance. I already regret that I only purchased the travel size. This perfume is so chique and elegant. Wearing this you feel like the most beautiful lady in the room. It is nicely fruity with an opening of lemon and peach. It lingers around and is so well blended that it feels like a silky scarf around your shoulders. summery, flowery and fruity but in an elegant Parisienne way. It's not a blind buy but a must try! For sure next birthday the full size bottle will be on top of my wishlist.
