When haute joaillerie uses diamonds with inclusions....
Flawless, flawless, exquisite, noble, magnificent, radiant, exclusive, luxurious... SO one imagines jewels of Boucheron.

That transfers itself then inevitably also to the products the French luxury jeweller still in the offer has, among other things also smells... This inevitable mindset then additionally solidifies after one has used/uses the Boucheron fragrance JAIPUR. Like the jewelry: Highest quality and a corresponding reputation.

With the fragrance Place Vendome was, to say it times on "jewelry", worked as follows:

Platinum? No, white gold will do (expensive)
Design? Noble, but not too grandiose (expensive)
Custom made? No, this time Pret-a-Joaillerie (still RIGHT expensive)
Diamonds? Flawless, as usual? NO, inclusions are ok, don't have to be pure-white either, and the carat count can be smaller (NOW it's just unjustifiably OVERPRICED!)

So is the fragrance unfortunately also become :-( The basic framework is right, only unfortunately was "saved" in the actual, the fragrance.... Very volatile sparkle, with visible inclusions and quality-reducing discoloration...

That goes better!

Is dark black the new BLACK?
Noir de Noir, Black by Black.

Sometimes you should not necessarily translate names into German, a lot of things then lose their sound ;-)

In no way has lost the already very good NOIR by Tom Ford in the NOIR DE NOIR variant! On the contrary! I find the darker black variant ( ;-) even better than the lighter black.

In my nose gather especially the vanilla and truffle scent (Aha, not only sweet junkie when 's about food but also when smelling) ...

Noir de Noir is for me an everyday companion, and although as an eau de parfum already with proper radiation also suitable for's office (OK, I have very dufterprobte colleagues), but especially find him the girls very nice :-)

Mission: BE SWEET! Successfully completed ;-)

Luxury honey in Baccarat glass, with leather lid, packed in an orange box with brown ribbon :-)
I had heard about the Hermessence fragrances already much...

Before the last lockdown in December 2020, I visited again quickly the Hermès boutique here in FFM and headed directly to the corner with the fragrances.

After a Ausschnuppern of the entire collection (and slow failure of my nose) liked me Ambre Narguilé of all the best, so: Bought :-) My gooddie before the renewed lockdown!

Fans of HONEY come here in my opinion at your expense! For me, the honey note is omnipresent in this fragrance, and, as a very "in the head to everything a situation erschaff" person (can you say so?) I had the following image in mind:

Lauer summer day in the Provence... Sun, blue sky... Ride on the best horse, true to style with Hermès saddle and in Hermès travel boots with matching crop... Back at the country estate, a table set with the "Ete comme Hiver" crockery, fresh bread, silver cutlery, fresh milk.... And then fresh, fragrant honey on the bread :-)

La vie est belle ;-)

Concentrated luxury, or: When I forgot to put on deodorant before luxury shopping :-/
So, normally fragrances of Cartier are always very good and noble. So at least my opinion was until the time when I got hold of Eau de Cartier Concentrée as a bargain...

First, the design of the bottle: very chic, puristic noble and massive!

But then it came to an encounter of the "sweaty kind" :-/
Spring, still no pre-summer heat, about 20°C, sunny.... I wanted to go to the city and was already half pulled. I reached for EdC and sprayed me the T-shirt.
I have then still a few things done and had more and more the smell of a school gym after the afternoon sports class of the 8th grade in the nose (And, already the smell in the mental nose? ) ;-)

OK, did I put deodorant on earlier? Quickly sniffed my own armpits, all clean!
Nose to the shirt, BINGO! Somehow EdC developed on my shirt to a biting sweaty smell :-/ (PS: The shirt was FRESH!)

Hm, well, so much for Eau de Cartier Concentrée, or rather Eau de Sweat Weeeaahh for me:-/

His last rest or deployments it had then so room spray in my guest toilet

Braking News: Fire in the Golden Palace of Isphahan! Countless pieces of sandalwood furniture and the rose garden destroyed!
Oud Isphahan, itself already a MESTERWERK in my opinion of the Dior Privée line, unfortunately misses his best friend Leather Oud for several years :-( Together they were just HAMMER! Both worn at the same time resulted in a scent that I miss very much :-(
Last re-cry in an example: both sprayed on a shirt, after 1 week (!) it smelled as if it had just been sprayed on.

I join some previous writers here at this point:

Oud Isphahan is SMOKE DELUXE! I find but no "smoky" smoke, rather noble, gentle smoke as you know it from souks in the Orient. The luxury smoke ;-) is still accompanied by noble, hand-cut and enddornten roses and sweet sandalwood, which self-confidently still pushes in front of the roses.

I feel Oud Isphahan as a very successful "Oriental" which, at least for me", the real Oudnote of the Orient has captured well
