Viva la revolución - leather light
Revolución is more than just a perfume - it's a journey through soft leather that caresses your senses and envelops your personality. Almost like a soft suede coat that completes the perfect outer layer of your look.

As we all know, revolutions can last a long time, and so does this fragrance. It lasts and lasts, almost 24 hours now noticeably on me, despite the shower. Of course, at some point it gets close to the skin and the sillage is not super 'loud' throughout. But still clearly perceptible and simply pleasant.

The main protagonist is undoubtedly the leather, which persists throughout the fragrance, although its presence diminishes a little over time. I also perceive a subtle fruity freshness and sweetness that is quite reminiscent of Tuscan Leather and La Yuqawam. I would therefore put Revolución in the same fragrance category. Great to wear on colder days, but can also be worn in spring, as there is always a subtle airiness.

Whether you are on a mission or simply looking for your daily adventure - Revolución accompanies you on this fragrance journey and makes it a pleasant experience.
Not the most revolutionary on the market, but still a beautiful and gentle leather fragrance for those who want to try out leather fragrances carefully.

Heart fragrance
A lot has already been written about this fragrance and its facets. Therefore from me a very personal anecdote, without the usual 'how and why does the just smell so...'.
I've been "fragrance crazy" for about four years now. Since then countless bottles and bottlings have found their way to me, but also away from me. I don't think any other fragrance has triggered such a positive reaction at first 'smelling' as Valentino Uomo Intense. First the filling from a sharing, which was then also very quickly used up. Soon after I got a broken bottle here in the souk. Unfortunately the spray head was damaged during transport, so I was afraid that I would have to smash the bottle like an old piggy bank and catch the valuable liquid somehow. But with a little handicraft work, a lot of patience, two rolls of Tesafilm and the stars in the right constellation I could make a provisional spray head and the investment was saved. Since then he has accompanied me to various weddings, where I am engaged as a musician, in winter at cosy temperatures, even on a date I once wore him. It has simply become a heart scent that sometimes falls too quickly into oblivion, but always conveys a pleasant feeling. Arriving home after a long winter walk. Snow, a mulled wine, a fireplace. It's all coming to me. It may not be the most complex or spectacular fragrance, but it is simply good!

Who actually determines whether a fragrance is 'good'?
What criteria are used in such an assessment? Is it the ingredients? The durability? The Sillage? Whether a fragrance smells synthetic or not? The first impression when a fragrance is smelled for the first time? Childhood memories of a positive or negative experience? Compliments you get or don't get? It is certain that all the criteria mentioned are included in the evaluation of a fragrance, but each person is assessed individually. Everyone has different experiences, different perceptions and a different attitude towards life. An individual story. That's what's exciting about life.

For me, Y in the EdP version is a real flatterer in the nose. He makes me feel good. He increases my self-confidence. Y begins fruity fresh, the apple-bergamot combination gives a great start, even if it has already been smelt in many fragrances. Yeah, it smells slightly synthetic, but does that automatically make it bad? Personally, I don't think so. Durability is very good on my skin with at least 7-8 hours. It also does very well to project from my skin. I can still perceive it very well after 3 hours without leading the sprayed area to the nose. It remains relatively linear, with the original slight freshness gradually disappearing from the opening and a wooden sweet tonka base appearing. I like him all the time. From my point of view, it can be used in many ways and is suitable for every situation. However, I am of the opinion that any fragrance can be worn if you feel like it yourself, if it gives you a good feeling. Certainly some things are more adequate in various situations than others. Simply also of social thinking will. Y, however, I do not find in any situation inappropriate or disturbing. Both a super everyday companion and a fragrance for special occasions. I myself feel well and I shouldn't disturb most of my fellow men with this scent. But it does not have the potential to fill a whole room with 2 sprays. So far there have been some compliments with this fragrance.
The bottle looks pretty on the shelf, looks noble and is also well processed. Unfortunately no magnetic cap, which I would have wished with the price, which it carries at present still.

To get back to the question of origin: It's up to me to decide whether a fragrance is good or not. Each person decides this individually according to their own criteria, which they set themselves. I'm a big fan of the new Y and I love to wear it!

Tastes are different.
... and that's the beauty of the fragrance world again! My previous experiences with the original Eros were consistently good. Durability, as well as Sillage and fragrance themselves have convinced me and my environment. So it happens that Eros is my previous compliment magnet. I'm a fan of fresh-sweet scents. Yes, a little bit of synthetic is not to be dismissed, both with the old and with his new 'Flanker brother'. With this release you can recognize the original DNA of the original right from the start, which remains somehow present during the whole fragrance process. Something in the background, but always there. This is accompanied from the beginning by a really beautiful freshness. The comparison of another user to the WC duck I can not understand with the best will in the world. But that's just how tastes are different. Eros Flame is always freshly sweet, slightly sugary, but not sticky. Despite the light synthetics, you still notice a quality in the fragrance, which in my opinion also distinguishes Versace. They manage to bring pleasing and quite independent fragrances onto the market which, although slightly synthetic, nevertheless offer a certain quality. Durability is also good here, could still smell traces on the skin after 12 hours, even after the shower. Sillage is moderate, no beast but also none that hides permanently. Every once in a while it rises pleasantly into your nose. In my eyes, the somewhat fresher impact makes it much more versatile than its predecessor. I think this one is great to wear from autumn to spring, during the day as well as in the evening. So far I only got one bottle through a sharing and tested it in the turquoise D before, but I think there will soon be a complete bottle in my house. Once again one can say: Well done Versace!
