Love the smell of Aventus on my skin. This is a special occasion scent for me, but can't help spraying it on even when I'm home all day. I have noticed some batch variance, but Aventus is Aventus. The signature fruity pineapple opening gives way to a subtle woodiness and dries down to a heavenly aroma. I've heard of the 'nose blindness' that occurs, and it may also be a problem with me because the fragrance really does not project as much as I'd like it. Even so, this is the best fragrance I own...and yes...way overpriced. But I guess the exclusivity is what makes it somewhat alluring. I've tried other cheaper clones, but keep coming back to appreciate the quality ingredients in this product

M7 is in a class of its own, I own a bottle and I wouldn't give it up period! I use it on VERY special occasions and when I get that urge to be enveloped with such a seductive animalistic aroma. M7 Oud Absolu may not compare but you know what it ain't that bad considering the price. The aroma isn't as intense and may not have the staying power but it's a decent quality juice. I bought this juice because I know that it may not last as long...again there's hundreds of other niche fragrance which don't have the longevity either and they cost a heck of lot more.
Overall,
The aroma is almost a carbon copy of when you wore M7 6hrs later. It's decent fragrance all considering. Those who really want the original version, this juice is about 80% similar. It lacks that strong masculine woodsy/spicy aroma combined with that medicine aroma at first spray. I would recommend it.....7.5/10

Beast mode stuff... Forget about over applying, even more then 2 sprays on skin can make it very offensive and synthetic. Strictly not a summer scent. I wear it rarely on cold or pleasant breezy nights with strict only 2 sprays slightly under my shirt neck and got compliments. I never came across any fragrance as cheap as this one and is not linear. It changes alot and I don't get bored with it's longevity. The over applying it make it smells like "burnt sugar" and wood but correct use makes it "burnt wood" with sugar. Definitely not a every day versatile fragrance but worth collecting for the price and uniqueness.

This one was so strong from just sniffering the bottle. (A small bottle. The smallest. You can order those online you know?) That I didn't wear to work for a year. Also a little less than an "amazing" smell for me at least. Sort of annoying frankly. The smell. Perhaps it smells quite fantastic to others. A mystery. As usual.
If I could wear it, I might?
It is not nearly as "masculine" as some report. As it "disappears" to my nose. Or nearly. But not others. Apparently not. Last time wearing I did catch the base. Must have put more than a drop on that time. Very fruity. Shower gel strength! To put it mildly, up top. And then fruit apparently down low. It's good. Just a little difficult to review accurately. And will garner compliments. Reviewers say so. Must be true.
I personally would use sparingly. A real bottle with sprayer. 1 spray you maniac.. but..You won't. Probably going to reapply. Whatever!
Seemed to straddle some issues of stomach discomfort. Hello bathroom! To temper! But for you, more than likely, a "dumb" reach. Inexpensive. Pretty good.

This is a great fragrance.

The opening is a bit surprising, with the "mentholy" vibe, but after few minutes the scent is really amazing.
I mainly get vanilla, and the scent is unisex in my opinion. This is very, very sweet (a few girls around me find it almost too sweet but still very nice). Layton is fairly well appreciated and complimented when I wear it in general.

Performance is good, whether the projection or longevity, as expected for the price you pay.

It can be used all year round (maybe not during hot summer days though).

One of my favorite perfumes, for sure.
