Jasmine+Basil = Basmine
This is like a stripped down, cleaner version of Fleur de Shanghai. It has less of the orange in the opening. But still with the Bergamot sparkle.
I love the more prominent Jasmine in this. But the basil like Clove note pokes through a little too much for my liking. Also has less of that Myrrh smokiness. Making it a more clean formulation. Shanghai is better though IMO as it's brighter, more tart and complex with the Orange, Patchouli and Myrrh. This leans more towards Bergamot, Jasmine and Clove.

Milky Mossy Magic
It opens with a luscious aromatic freshness from the Patchouli and Jasmine. With a hint of Orange and Blackcurrant. But never goes too citrus. More round and creamy with the bouquet of florals. It has such a clean, smoothness to the formulation. I think the Iris, Sandalwood and Oakmoss really soften and Meld everything together. It has a slight tartness from the Plum and Rose to balance the creamy Jasmine, Patchouli and Vanilla. It's the perfect balance between Tart, Fresh and Creamy. So Natural and Complex.

Leathery Saffron and Sticky Date Infused Rose
At first blast this is an absolute pungent powerhouse of rich ingredients. The Pink Pepper is prominent with the leathery Saffron and Cedar. The gorgeous Bulgarian Rose anchors everything and is quite jammy sweet. As it settles and dries that's when everything melds so smoothly together. And the deep, sticky and almost vanillic Date note shines through with the Rose and heavy musks. Making it predominately hazy , creamy and floral with subtle woods, leather and spice. High amounts of naturals for sure

Musky, Mellow Magic
At first I thought I didn't like it as it's very woody and pungent with a dark leafy green and a double galbanum earthiness in the heart. But as it settles that's where the magic happens. The drydown is so gentle and musky with a hint of smokiness. The Jasmine is undetectable as a separate entity but It smooths the formulation and mellows it out. Making it so soft and delicate. Absolutely gorgeous.

Aldehydic and Vanillic Sandalwood
The first blast you have a fresh lift from the Freesia and clean benzyl salicylate . In the centre it mellows more into a creamy blend of Sandalwood, Vanilla and a subtle plum. As it dries your left with a sweet musky, woody vanilla. This taken me a while but has grown on me and I think it's very natural as it evolves in three stages and sometimes the vanilla is most prominent and others the fresh, slightly bitter Freesia shines through. It has an addictive quality to it as well.
