It's classy, luxurious and most importantly smells amazing. It's so well blended. The juicy orange with the peppery sage. And the Iris with the leather is so silky smooth. This is the perfect example of less is more. Better to have less notes that compliment each other. Rather than too many that don't. The only quarrel with this is I wish that juicy orange opening lasted longer. But it's a gorgeous scent. When I put it on I feel like I'm in a lap of luxury and it boosts my confidence through the roof. Especially when meeting for dates etc. I feel like an Italian Stallion.

My first impression of this was it reminds me of Witch Hazel. As it has a medicinal vibe to it. It is very strong with the Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Saffron in the opening . I think i don't like the Saffron and Cinnamon mix. It almost smells of Motor oil. It's a little overkill on the spices. Like an assault on the senses. With the leather and Vanilla as well. It's too much ultra rich ingredients rammed into one. Which results in a pungent powerhouse of spices very similar to spicebomb which i also dislike. It is an absolute monster for Longevity and Sillage. I don't hate the smell. It's just a little bitter smelling for me and too sickly with all the rich ingredients. I used this at Xmas and I loved it , it's so warm and comforting. It's ultra sweet and smells like a delicious chocolate latte or freshly baked toffee pudding. It is an absolute beast for longevity. Lasts about 10 hours on me. Sillage is above average. Not obnoxious though. The only thing is it doesn't have any citruses or anything fresh to lift the scent. It's just Chocolate, Coffee, Tonka which is lush smelling. But I find it more cozy and cuddly. Rather than sexy smelling and fresh. Its just a complete dark scent. Where as I like a blend of light and dark elements to make a more versatile complete scent.

This definitely has a classic feel to it. My first impression was it reminded me of something my dad worn in the early 90s down the social club where we used to play pool etc. Saying that I love it. It's a very pleasant smell. and doesn't smell outdated like an old man's spray at all. It's very smooth and mellow. At first it's like a soothing Lemon Tea. Very refreshing and calming. Then the heart of cardamom but instead of it being bitter like Eau De Nuit. Its cleverly melded in with the lemon tea to smooth it out. And the Suede note underneath is most prominent to me which blends with the lemon tea and subtle Cedar perfectly. I would class this as a leather, green fragrance. And I think Eau de Suede would be a more fitting name.

I didn't like this at first as the smoky and oud notes on the dry down are a little too skanky for me. But the opening is lush and gourmand like with that pungent apple and cinnamon. It has an addictive boozy aroma. Almost like a country cider from an oak barrel that I really like, but the opening doesn't last long only about 10 minutes, then your left with the more smoky and oud base. So it's a love hate for me. I love the boozy, farmhouse cider vibe. But not so much the smoky oud as its a little too hard edged and skanky. It's not offensive though like Versace Dreamer. Just don't love it through and through. Scent 7/10 Sillage 6/10 longevity 6/10
