YOU LIKE IT OR YOU LOVE IT, IT'S THAT GOOD
Nishane B-612 is a gem. Unique and very pleasant.
Reminds me just how unique were some 80's and 90's classics.
But in it's own pleasant way. Smooth scent.
Longevity is very good, projection solid first few hours.
Not too sweet, just the right amount.
Fresh but does not feel citrusy at all.
Possibly I will get a backup bottle at some discount.
Paid full price for the first one, it's worth it anyway.

AdG ESSENZA, MORE SERIOUS VERSION OF ALREADY ICONIC SCENT
When I first tried Essenza AdG, I was really impressed with the scent.
Bottle looks iconic too. Box in shiny metallic finish looks premium.
More mature vibe, and cleaner overall. Not so citrusy like original.
It's very fresh but somehow bitter. That's basil and sage I think.
And it's little peppery and zingy, which is nice in the warm weather.
In the dry-down it turns a little dark, I think patchouli or amber does that.
It does give a little hint of some synthetic ingredients, nothing major.
I went thru four 180ml bottles and one 75ml for the road.
For four years my summers were smelling mostly like Essenza AdG.
Finally it was over, I was bored with the Essenza AdG. Had enough of it.
I stay AdG Essenza fan forever, however Armani is not offering it any more.
It was great while it lasted, what a summer fragrance that was .
All that is left of AdG Essenza is the memory of some great summers ...

THIS PDM PACKS A PUNCH
In the store I was deciding between Layton 125ml & Layton Exclusif 75ml.
They were priced almost the same, this one had more luxurious box.
Went with the Exclusif, used more than half of it, then gave it to a friend.
Layton was more wearable daily, this was more dark and spicy, a bit sharp.
Not for hot weather or for daily use. Evening out is the best purpose.
Never used more than 3 sprays, it would have been overpowering.
Apple and vanilla are quite similar in both fragrances.
Where they go separate ways, this one becomes dark quickly.
Regular Layton stays vivid and playful, this is more serious stuff.
Missed it a bit after giving it away, maybe some day I buy it again, but 125ml ...

KING HEROD PDM, I SEE WHY EVERYONE LIKES IT
A superb tobacco fragrance, and it contains Frankincense.
My No.1 fragrance note of all times.
Quite sharp and spicy, maybe due to cinnamon and pepper.
Patchouli is big here also. They are all heavyweight notes.
My bottle was 2020 batch, did not project much. Longevity was decent only.
Ended up gifting it to a friend. He is head over heels with Herod.
I have too many niche perfumes anyway. PDM especially. Decided to let it go ...

PDM BYERLEY, THIS ONE WALKS IT'S OWN PATH
At first, very different smelling masculine vetiver dominated fragrance.
Nicely blended. No surprise there since PDM perfumers are all masters.
Definitely for mature male user. Tried it just few times, experience improved gradually.
This type of fragrance grows on you over time. Acquired taste is the expression.
You get in a habit of wanting to smell it, then you get used to it. Then you like it.
However, my collection is jam packed, so I ended up gifting it to my father. He likes it.
I received this Byerley as a gift, at least it made my father a happy person.
It quickly became his No.1 fragrance for daily use, that's good enough for me ...
