Beautiful blend.
shortly after getting into frag-com I came across Montblanc Explorer which led to learn about Aventus which led me to Cedrat Boise which led me to this. I'm sure most of you could relate lol. o I did not smell Aventus until recently and when I did I already owned Hacivat, Cedrat Boise & Montblanc and in my humble opinion all 3 fill different purposes within my collection and I am very happy to have all 3 of them. Aventus on the other hand I do not see myself getting a bottle off although it is a very nice frag. Having said all of that I don't smell any similarities between Hacivat and the others mentioned including Aventus. The pineapple I get in the opening is sweet in the most beautiful way, the rest of the notes blend in beautifully in a way that you get a bit of a floral note with some wood then some patchouli comes around but no one-note ever takes over. It really never transitions fully on my skin and I love that. Longevity and sillage are amazing, easily noticeable after the 7-8 hour mark. I do not really have a signature scent but if I did this would def be on the short list next to Terre D Hermes EDT and Reflection Man from Amouage. Absolutely full bottle worthy if you ask me, especially in warm weather climates. Now to the one thing... my girlfriend absolutely hates this scent with a passion, out of my 20+ collection this is the only one she absolutely despises. she loves Cedrat Boise tho which is the one she asks me to wear every time we go out which tells you all you need to know about them being an Aventus clone. Oh well, I will keep wearing it to work and keep it in my collection for years to come.

Big Baller- Adjacent
So I have never really smelled Creed MI, however I am a full year into this fragrance obsesion and I came accross something about MI being Jay-Z signature scent which might just be total BS but still Hova is my childhood idol so it def peaked my interest in getting my hands on MI or something similar at least. I cannot speak to how close this is to Creed's MI but this scent is really not too bad for 30 USD. The oppening is a bit medicinal/synthetic but 15 minutes int the dry down it gets very fruity with some acuatic nuances. The ambroxan stays through the life of the fragrance which I am getting a good 6-7 hours with a decent 2 hours of projection. I can see how some people would be put off by the oppening or it being to synthetic but in the air it is fruity-salty and 4+ hours in it's very fresh and clean. For 30 bucks you can def do worst imho and may I add, my shawty loves this on me. I'm happy with my purchase and will def be wearing this alot this summer down here in this FL heat. Solid summer cheapie.

It's aight.
I came across him not to long ago when I was looking for a new scent when I was about to run out of my beloved Bleu de Chanel Parfum. It opens with a sharp bergamot which for some could be a bit synthetic but in my most humble opinion it's prob the best part of this fragrance. The mid is also very lovely, as it settles it turns into a woody/ aromatic scent which is also very clean. About and hour into the drydown it transitions into and ambroxan bomb which I can no longer detect any nuances whatsoever, just a screeching ambroxan base that still projects and linger very well. After that point it really is nothing special. As for compliments this will get you noticed and garner compliments and to be fair my better half absolutely loves this. Value for money is very good, you can gets this for 40% at times on online discounters having said that it would be a hard pass for me at retail. The bottle presentation is very elegant in my opinion with the classic Montblanc minimalism. All and all a pretty decent scent if looking for an all year-round scent and you don't want to break the bank.

Bedtime lullaby?
This perfume comes with a lot of hype so when the opportunity came for me to get my hands on a bottle I jumped on it right away. I had never put my nose on it so I patiently waited for it to arrive in the mail. I had seen people rave about this as a very sexy seductive date scent which I could not wait to spray it on myself before my next date night with my lady. It finally arrived, I opened the box sprayed it and waited 30 min and remember saying out loud "Is this it, is this the masterpiece everyone raves about?". I expected a WHOLE lot more character, maybe I'm being unfair since I had such high expectations based on others reactions. As for the scent itself is actually really nice. I get the iris lip-sticky note at the top and it's quite pleasing. Lavender follows giving it a bit of freshness and the dry-down is quite powdery. I do get and dark-ish kind of insense note which I do enjoy although it is very subtle. The scent itself is an 8 in my opinion now the performance is another story. This is very soft projecting and does not last on my skin at all. I get maybe and hour of soft projection and 5 hours of longevity. I have yet to try this in cooler weather and have only worn it in Florida summer heat which maybe is affecting the performance a bit. I wore it yesterday for lunch and drinks and spent quite a bit of time outside and it was jot cloying at all. After 3 hours it was a skin scent and although my lady enjoyed it she could hardly perceive it at all sitting right next to me. Odd enough this is a lovely and relaxing scent for bedtime wear.
