It is understandable that niche lovers would arrest and imprison this fragrance because it is definitely synthetic. The synthetic lemon has a very strong force at the beginning, but later the scent calms down again and becomes more pleasant with time. This fragrance is synthetic-citric-dark woody, and the drydown is pleasantly sweetened by the tonka bean.
Wanted is strongly represented in the first hour, and the following 1.5 hours well perceptible. It is present on the skin for 6-7 hours.

I personally like the design of the bottle a lot, and this bottle definitely arouses the interest of the customers. The bottle is definitely not cheaply processed, and also very handy. Since I live in a hot country where the summer temperatures are 50 degrees, I always try to have my EDT with me. A 100ml bottle fits easily into a small bag if you should take it with you to spray.

Last November I went to the perfumery to buy an Invictus. To be honest, I have always been involved with fragrances, but only since last year have I had this hobby. I had gotten 100 ml for 50€ and was happy, but at home I saw that the bottle looked completely different (actually a bad buy) :)
The bottle was very handy and with dark glass. I sprayed something on myself and was greeted by a sweet spice but also alcohol-like smell. The scent seemed smokier and more mature than the normal Invictus. Later I also learned that this alcohol touch came through the whiskey liqueur, which is not listed here in the scents.
With time, this Invictus becomes more bitter and spicy, thus quite different from its brothers and sisters. This dark Invictus is rather something for the Ü25/30 men. It fits to casual evening events, suitable in autumn/winter.

I find Invictus Intense inappropriate... Invictus de Nocte would be more appropriate
