I lie on the beach with my eyes closed and catch a light sea breeze.
I take a freshness, slightly salty nuance with a minimal woody note on.

I open my eyes and realize I lie stranded on a bay and discover something further from me parts of a ship or boat. The sun smiles lightly at me and I take a deep breath.
This light sea breeze, the slightly salty air paired with the light wood notes of the partly wet and yet dried wood of the boat that lies next to me.

But then I take a wonderful, slightly sweet, powdery and also at the same time minimal floral note and wonder where this comes from.
It is quite pleasant and so sensual.
Where does this floral nuance come from, although I seem to be stranded after all and sand seems to be everywhere.
I straighten slightly to the side and recognize a Gestallt next to me, which I unfortunately do not immediately recognize through the sun, because the sun in the background does not allow the view of the face.

A tender, wonderful and yet so soft voice asks me if everything is "ok".
I straighten up further and notice how this flowery fragrance becomes more and more intense, the more I get closer to the person by straightening up.

Now I recognize the face of a wonderful woman with red hair, whose blowing in the wind this wonderful flowery, slightly powdery rose fragrance throws me.
After straighten up and full contemplation of the person opposite me I realize only that this wonderful being contains a certain fin and was not sure and ask me mentally, is this a mermaid?
She comes closer to me to look at me better and to see if everything is really "ok" and hear the powdery, slightly salty and at the same time sweet scent that emanates from her skin.
This combination reminds me, for whatever reason, of a beautiful deep sea pearl.
Powdery, sweet and yet wonderfully shiny.
Paired with the light-rose-red hair, which at the same time give off a wonderful rose note, which does not seem too heavy but also not too artificial, it really seems somehow wonderfully fragile and at the same time also unapproachable and wonderful.
This sensual fragrance remains in the memory without being intrusive.
He radiates a playfulness, which nevertheless seems very sublime and radiates for me a pure sensuality.

We talk a bit and her scent enveloped me completely! Some times I must seem so absent minded, because her scent completely captivates me. I somehow just can't get enough of her and discover myself closing my eyes every now and then, just to perceive her scent, to try to absorb her scent forever in my memory.

She tells me to get up and come with her to the small boat to get to the other side, as there are other capsized people there and she wants to accompany me up to a certain point.
On the way to the other side, the scent of the boat meets me.
Woodiness paired with the light sea breeze, yet I wonder how much I still take her scent in the wind. Her hair project in the wind her scent further and enjoy every minute in which I have this combination of the sea,boat and especially her.

So slowly we arrive to the other shore and also so wonderful this time with her is, she says goodbye, looks me again deeply into the eyes and says, maybe we see each other sometime again and disappeared into the depths of the sea.

Now I'm sitting alone on the boat and her scent is no longer out of my mind and I remember her pure sensual way with her rosy red hair.
It is so surreal that I wonder if I must have been dreaming.
In the thoughts slightly lost I am snatched by a call of a person from these and brought back to reality.

But I will never forget this being, the sensual, slightly rose-scented, wonderful mermaid, hoping to see this again one day....

My second fragrance from Nasamotto!

This brand really goes different ways and if you want something special, this brand definitely seems to be the right one for you.
The fragrances are very special and are already too special for me so far.

"Black Afgano (Extrait de Parfum) | Nasomatto" was already a clear challenge for me and unfortunately not quite my direction, but I still had a few on my wish list to get to know more of this house, because I find special fragrances very interesting and would like to smell differently "individual".
Yes, even if I have some "mainstream"/"more pleasing" fragrances, you are always looking for something special.
As I said, this house offers it, but so far it's probably just too special for me.



At the beginning, the fragrance seems very unbalanced.
It seems pleasing and then somehow not. Difficult to describe!
But this is not really unusual for niche fragrances.
Many fragrances start out very austere and unfamiliar and develop further and better, at least most of them do.

The start is very woody and powdery and there is a very synthetic note in the background, which is very unsettling, at least for me.

I get the impression of a package that I ordered from China, in which a special piece of wood is wrapped in soft cloth with this certain "Chinese nuance" when you order from certain online stores in the Far East.
A certain synthetic note that is more off-putting than pleasurable.

Shortly after the opening, the woody note remains and a floral note is added.
Unfortunately, the synthetic note paired with a certain animalism also remains.

Over time, the fragrance fades more and more and becomes more and more pleasing!
I was constantly torn as to whether I liked it or not. But the very fact that I'm having such thoughts means that I probably don't.

After a certain time, I get a reminder of a certain fragrance.
I really thought for a long time about which fragrance it resembles and after a while I realized that it resembles the beginning of "Au Coeur du Désert | Tauer Perfumes" or at least a part of the beginning
Unfortunately, the beginning of "Au Coeur du Désert | Tauer Perfumes" is not really a pleasure for me either, but fortunately this all changes by the drydown :-)

But this fragrance also has its strength in drydown. Many test fragrances, even at Nische, only for the first 30 minutes to 2 hours, as one is probably used to the well-known "designers", true to the motto "How it starts, thats how it ends".
But if you immerse yourself more in the niche world, you will realize that many niche fragrances experience a great development and often only fully ignite at the end, which you actually enjoy the longest!

This is also the case with this fragrance!
The drydown is a wonderfully powdery, slightly woody and above all soft fragrance
It reminds you of beautiful white, delicate, soft, cuddly bed linen.

The name fits so damn well, because as mentioned at the beginning it reminds me directly of online store China goods and then becomes a beautiful, cuddly white bed linen.

Unfortunately, the beginning is too blatant for me and the drydown is really good, but unfortunately not so good that I absolutely have to have it
But it was definitely interesting to get to know a fragrance like this again.
But here, too, it has to be said that Nasamotto lives up to its reputation and is very special.
If you are looking for something like this, you should definitely take a look at the house and test it out.
