Scent
an enticing golden haze
After gratefully recieving a sample packet, from Ms Covey, my husband and i have tested through the group and found gem after gem. Tonight, it is a little balmy and the air is humid, breezy, but not hot. A good friend and i both donned GC and immediately noticed a brightening citrusy note in the beginning. As it settled, i left the room, and as she & i would walk past one another we'd love the gorgeous trail we would encounter. It excited us both! Among the lush honey, labdanum, and amber, there seemed to be a powerful olfactory effect taking place. A sense of nag champa incense perhaps? GC becomes exotic, and captures a feel of almost "taboo" in the sudden warmth, excitement, and racing heart that brought me back to the seductive and rushing anticipation of a youth sneaking into a "smoke shop" and discovering many, but never all of its forbidden delights. After this initial sensation began to wane, i enjoyed my stay in the beautiful golden haze, a light sandalwood, and barely detectable incense note appeared, and the scent slowly began to shift into a sensuous languidity like the aftermath of said forbidden delights.. lingering in the air, seducing with a memory, making me want to lift my hair, bare my neck to the breeze and close my eyes. Maybe just drift of into the sweet, exotic, goden siren song.

My husband immediately fell for this "sirens song", on myself, as well as on him. we will be purchasing fb's in the near future.

I would recommend trying all of the line. The quality is right here.

Scent
serene
ive had this fragrance for quite some time now, probably better than a decade and it is a great go-to for a stressful moment. i still put a few drops in my bathwater sometimes, or on my pillow. it opens with citrus and herbal notes, waterlily afloat in calm waters. it gently unfolds into soft musk, and sandalwood, close to the skin. pleasing and comforting as its meant to be. this one is true to its name. a breath of fresh air, a great yoga or meditation scent. it evokes a serene, quiet moment for me.

ambre heaven..
This is just what i needed. A cold weather, winter warmer.
Good tobacco by a fireplace, high quality, oakey-vannilic booze, and something vaguely medicinal for a moment. Well worn leather chairs, polished woods and an old book.
Tea, and wild honey, exotic spices. Its easy to feel a sense of warm, sultry air gently moving, and forget the cold, embrace the warm, silken, amber arua that beckons like a foreign melody.. This scent wears extremely well on my skin, which suprises me, because i normally do not care for amber. My warm chemistry made sweet love to this gorgeous perfume and an inexplicable, implacable, spine tingling sensuality was the result, and i am hoplessly addicted. This is the kind of fragrance that has the effect of a narcotic haze, as it is too much, and not enough. Ambre russie is an indulgence in the extreme, and sweet to excess. It is sinful, and decadent, hedonistically luxurious.

cool & cozy
Off the top this is a breath of fresh air. A definite tea note, but i would almost say earl grey rather than oolong, due to the bergamot that accompanies it. Its very light, and almost plays a little hide & seek game, where its light & barely there, and then smokey, woodsey, and very substantial for a spell. a few minuites in it reminds me a little of annick goutal encens flamboyant, and then it mellows and the refreshing tea & smooth "grey" woods return. The leather is dry, and almost makes me think of pearly grey suede. Oolang infini gives a feel of a somehow cool, but cozy and contemplative scent, that plays in waves, and unfolds gently from fresh and light, to smoky and complex in the drydown, like the conclusion of a good book. And indeed, i smell the leather binding, and the evocation of a memory here... Cold winter sunlight through the window, and the scents of leather & good tea, a blanket and a fire, when ocassionally i catch a rouge whiff of cold, fresh air that brings juniper, & smoke. A lovely fragrance, i believe it would be great on a man, although it worked better for me than my husband. It does come & go quickly, which gives it a casual feel, but i too would love to see how it would do in a higher concentration. Beautiful fragrance.

decadent sweetness!
My goodness! In a word, decadent! I get a smell like fine whiskey sniffing straight out of the bottle, so I was a little apprehensive about this little jewel. Boy, was I mistaken. I get at first, honey, and the dried fruits. After about 20-30 minuites, the white flowers developed which cut the sweetness and lent it elegance and sensuality. It's hard to explain the way this beauty is comforting and sensual at the same time. I about dismissed botrytis as a cloyingly sweet mess, but it is overall a scent of pure excess, and gluttony, well composed. It lasted all day. I applied this morning and it has developed well, I catch a very slight powdery note, but it did not last long. A scent of seductive, sexual sweetness!
