i happened upon siren as a blind buy, had i known how beautiful the bottle was, i would have bought it anyway! this was sealed in a package, a relic of some sale item unopened. i was about knocked over upon my first application which was just a dab, as this was a mini. this one has strength! a truly potent specimin, as i sniffed my wrist i was unsure how i felt, juicy lovely peach, orange, rose, peony, a list of some of my favorite notes. with.....voilet. violet, how i do love you in the wild, but not as a subpar powdery influence in my perfumes. which was barely there.. but after ten minuites of evaporation, and puzzlement, i started getting whiffs of what smelled like alternately Laura Biagotti"s Venezia...? sigh.... and what... old, majestic, powerhouse poison? what is this strange creature on my wrist that transformes itself so, every other moment?! how very strange. on my next 40 minuite drive home with my husband, we smelled a slight almost chypre-ish quality at one point, and during the entirety as long as its not over applied, siren is a dazzling, multifaceted beauty. wearing this i love to turn around, catch my own scent, and be both puzzled, and excited by it. or catch a look of puzzlement behind me.. :-) i think this is a powerful fragrance, despite its seemingly bright cast, but softly juicy. the vanilla and woods emerge after about three hours on me to spread a soft, glow around me that opens up in our humid summer night air. it seems to be a little like Mitsouko in that it decides who it loves, and who it dosn't. my husband is mad for it applied with feminine skill...it leaves a trace you want to follow. wear it if you want to be followed... i adore it!

Imagine yourself sitting on your softly sunlit patio in the early morning while there is still a little chill in the air, and the dew is fresh on the rosebuds that abound. On your table rests a bowl of fruits and a lovely little boquet, that give off their pleasant scents, and mingle with the dew, roses, effervescent champagne, and freshly groomed greens. This beautiful, bright essence changes 15 minuites in, to a duskier rose, that reveals the same setting at evening, this time in silk, and heels, where carnation, and musk make their gentle entrance, and frame the roses, which are now voluptuous in full bloom. Their scent rich in the still night air. Muskissme is an absolutely gorgeous rose. Well balanced, complex, while seemimg simple at first sniff. The silliage is rather poor, it moves through its unfolding stages rather quickly on the skin, and dries down to a soft, slightly green, rose skin scent. Gentle in all of its phases, very ladylike. And beautiful during every phase. I could see muskissme being an ideal wedding day scent, following its innocent beginning to its demure sensuality in the dry down. Muskissme is a very beautiful rose that unfolds many personalities. This fragrance sticks to clothing a little better, and stays longer in the bright first phase. I enjoyed layering it on my skin, & clothing to get both sides of this scent at once. Enjoy this beauty, i will love muskissme all summer long, during the hot days & nights!

As i review grain de soleil, it is a cold, snowy day, and im cozied up with a big sweater, and some hot tea. I have to say, i definitely found another "sunshine in a bottle!" This fragrance immediately warmed me entirely. I am sitting surronded by a golden aura of sweet amber, vanilla, and soft (very delicately)powdery heliotrope, which is a summer favorite of mine. A jasmine, honey, cinnamon trio has seemed to settle in for the long haul, and rather than getting individual notes, i am enveloped in a warm, golden glow. I feel as though i have a soft feminine, aura of summery joy floating about me, and i cannot express my delight in the feeling this fragrance has evoked for me. I feel very sexy, and edible! Normally anything with even a hint of powder is dead to me immediately, but this lives on.. And i continue to love it! The dry down reminds me a little of hypnotic poison, that being said, it has become necessary to get my hands on a bottle of both of them! I cannot wait to spritz this on when we take vacatin this spring! Grain de soleil and mountain sunshine may just overload my joy sensors!

Update: this beauty has MONSTER sillage. Soft sweetness greeted me the next morning, and lingered on my sweater for days. Verdict: well worth a purchasing a big bottle!

This is a fragrance that you dont know you want yet. I was lucky enough to run into a vial, and tragically spill most in my lap after writing a review, which i then promptly accidentally erased. So the last drops haunted me, and taunted me for weeks, untill i got my beauty in the mail. Ill start by saying the silliage on this juice is quite impressive. I threw the garment that got 1ml in the hamper for a week, and after a wash it was still lingering with a rich, resinous woodsiness. Cuoio opens rather bracing and masculine on me, with a touch of citrus peel, spices and woods. After 20-30 minuites it melts into my skin leaving a gorgeous, mellowed version of its woodsy opening. Gentle, soft spices and buttery, rich, and smooth leather stay with me the entire way. This is not a corset & boots leather scent, nor a harley & cheap whiskey scent. This juice makes me imagine im in an artisan shopping district, in a fox fur & gucci boots, catching gentle whiffs of tobacco, honey, and aged bourbon, near a fine leather goods store, gazing at beautiful gloves & handbags. But no "boozeyness" just a feeling of "posh". Cuoio takes a little space around you, just a tad, and i catch myself getting a whiff and everytime i think "god, i smell like a million bucks". Quite simply, this is worth every penny, the bottle is beautiful and unique, the scent quality and masterfully blended into a sensual unisex fragrance. Men could capture a womans heart in this fine fragrance, and confident, unique women who enjoy being provocative will find cuoio a joy. this is the unique beauty ive been waiting for, and i will thoroughly enjoy my fb to the last drop.
