Most of the time I can only admire the works of Mr. Ellena from a distance, but with Osmanthe Yunnan it is different. A very interesting fragrance, which I find pleasantly clear and compact. It seems manageable and clearly defined, but at the same time it shimmers and presents its scents in different light. Exciting. I have experienced Osmanthe Yunnan today as pleasantly bright and also mood-lifting and that is not surprising, since aromatherapy attributes exhilarating, inspiring qualities to Osmanthus, which is used to scent tea. I can understand the scents listed here in retrospect, but I do not find the leather as such, the soft-sweet apricot impression with what I perceived as a bitter green, however, rudimentarily reminded me of a very soft suede, or rather of a very weakened Bottega Veneta.

Actually, it's not the kind of scent I usually prefer.

Only for a few seconds at the beginning the approach of the old No.5 appears to me and disappears again immediately.
Then I perceive a slight citrus note, but it does not seem to be sour.

This delicate, almost powdery lemon combines with delicate rose.

Vetiver,vanilla and sandalwood round off the fragrance heavenly soft.
For me, the fragrance appears softly powdery overall.
After a long time on the skin in the final phase I notice a mix of green notes and very soft vanilla.

This somewhat cutting, but wonderfully clear coolness is what this fragrance makes me think of. The lavender is cool and clear at first, but then - though not repressed, but still a bit silenced - when a honey-ambra wood lies over the herbaceous clear lavender.

has uncanny durability, freshly applied quite dry and woody.

A beautiful, clear and head clearing scent.
