This is amazing in longevity for a cheapo. In the beginning I get some spicy notes which give way to flowery notes and powder - the whole dry down is more or less flowery powder. I can not distinguish any of the notes above, but it is very pleasant.

Hélène d'Arcy is obviously a brand of Rossmann, a drugstore chain. Though Basalt is still available in the shops, it is not listed anymore on their website. (I have the version in the red box with silver floral pattern.)

For me Alien Sunessence Edition Or d'Ambre smells differently from the original Alien, which has a jasmine note I can not wear.
Or d'Ambre starts with a good kiwi note and grades into a very wearable jasmine, softened by the orchid.
Today I did not use many sprays so it was very soft on the skin but I think it has longer longevity and sillage when more is applied. Though it is a summer version it can be worn in winter as well, it has some bright uplifting vibe.
Normally I don't care for bottles but this one is very beautiful and while I like violet as a colour, I also like this bottle better than the original's one.

This was a very good bargain for a 50 ml eau de toilette. It starts sweet and fruity, I really can not smell the top notes separately but I think I can notice pear and black currant. The orchid joins in very early and has a good staying power. In the base notes the blackwood dominates and only then SEDUCTIVE SUNKISSED shows a similarity to CALVIN KLEIN's EUPHORIA. Otherwise a simlarity to BELIEVE by BRITNEY SPEARS has been mentioned. For me that seems to be very comprehensible even though there is no patchouli in the GUESS perfume.

Longevity is very good, given that it is an eau de toilette, more than 7 hours, while sillage is average. The bottle itself is very nice and I would rate the heavy angular glass highly if it wasn't for the red sprayer head and the lipstick charm, both in the same red colour, probably aimed to make the bottle and therefore the content appealing for a certain clientele, but looking only tacky in my eyes.

All in all a wearable fruity scent with a really nice base, which I definitely prefer to the phases before.

There is not really that much to say about this fragrance from Yves Rocher, though I don't mean that in a bad way. This is coconut in its purest sense from beginning until the dry down. Even though not listed in the notes, there seems to be some vanilla added, which gives a gourmand or oriental feeling, if even only so slightly.

This is a must for all coconut lovers. It can be worn year round and in many settings though I would not wear it for business - unless you work in the tourism industry. The accompanying body lotion is also recommended. All in all good value for the price.

This bottle came into my possession by chance. I had ordered Basile for women (Basile Femme) and I got this as there was a small bar-code sticker with "Basile for women" on the box, even though the box itself says very clearly in big letters "BASILE UOMO" (uomo is Italian for man), but then you can not expect everyone knowing Italian.

Luckily the company I ordered it from has great costumer service and I could also keep it, so after smelling it it got a place in my collection. It is quite a herbal chypre (I would classify it as herbal also, if that was in the classification list), starting with a green blast of herbs which I can not all identify but the basil seemed most noticeable; I checked with the basil pot at the kitchen window. Oakmoss is very strong here and gives a cool forest feeling. After five, six hours leather is also noticeable, but subdued to the oakmoss. I guess that the other notes round Basile up and hold the dominant notes together without showing up front.

Basile uomo can very well be worn by women if they like their chypre green, herbal and strong. It is great for everyday and business, it goes well with jeans or business suits and is a good match for summer days.
