OMG! ShockedShockedWHERE IS ROSE Crying or Very sad

Very interesting, indeed, Apicius.

It would also be interesting to know the top "ingredients", since "notes" are often metaphors.

I wonder, for example, what percentage of perfumes being launched these days contain iso-E-super or ambroxan, for example...

Are these the ones that show up most often in people's collections? Or the ones that are in the ones that people say they are wearing?

Either way, it's a nice list, Apicius. I love seeing the words for everything in German - sounds like a list I should memorize! Smile

(Especially Maigloeckchen! I love the idea of little May bells!)

I also didn't know Veilchen: a very important word!

The notes come from the translation file that I try to complete. I think it simply shows how often a note is beeing mentioned in fragrance notes of all perfumes, and the number refers to the number of mentionings on the German site.

I was also a bit astonished not to find the German word "Rose", it is not contained, maybe because it is the same word in English? I will have to ask Don who provided the file.

MAybe I was a bit too eager to show you this list, but I think it at least shows some general information. Maybe I can update this list in the future for you (or maybe Don can provide just another statistics feature?), Let's see!

Very interesting, Apicius. Thanks.

Thanks for the background, Apicius. I don't think it's that "rose" is the same in both languages. Several that are the same in both languages are on the list (patchouli, vetiver, ylang-ylang, orange).

Shera Pop, I think you should name your next cat Veilchen! Very Happy
