Perfumes named after house HQ/flagship street address
10 years ago
This originated as a blog post but I thought it would be funny to mine the community's knowledge on this... I got snickering the other night thinking of the many fragrances named after the perfume/design house's hq/flagship street address, and wondered if there is a rule about or something? Here's what I currently have:
"31 Rue Cambon" by Chanel (thanks Dulcemio!)
"Montaigne" by Caron (thanks Pipette!)
"Place Vendôme" by Boucheron
"Archives 69" by ELdO
"34 Boulevard Saint-Germain" by Diptyque
"Champs-Elysées" by Guerlain"
"24, Faubourg" by Hermès
"5th Avenue" and "Red Door" by Elizabeth Arden
The entire brand of Bond N.9
Do you know any others? Add them!
