It's true, an alternative to Apres L'Ondee

On Fragrantica Reviews (Apres L'Ondee) a reviewer called Lily has found a way to layer two perfumes to make a respectable alternative to APLO. They are L'Heure Bleu in EDT and Yardley Iris. As I had all three to compare I have done the exercise.
The missing cucumber note cannot be replicated but these two layered create a decent alternative, a more than passing resemblance.

It is always fun to experiment and play.

The perfumer's master piece can only be approximated, but no matter.
