I love my Colognes, but it has occurred to me that on occasions I wont buy a certain fragrance because I don't like the bottle shape. Am I the only one who does this?

I was doing translations from German reviews into English and one struck me in particular.
Note how the author describes the bottle ... and his feelings about this particular cologne - see this link:

Apples and oranges here, just want to comment that I throw away ugly bottles ( vintage ) that have gone bad. I keep the nice designed ones for display.

Hello community.
Indeed, packaging is important. This is the product! But the wrong bottle not the worst, I think.

We can break it into two parts, one is the quality of the product and the other is the design of the bottle.
If the quality of perfume is exceptional no one would like to lose such perfume on mere the design of the bottle but if there is nothing special than the design of the bottle do matters Smile you can get similar smell packaged in a wonderful bottle.

Having said that the design and branding of the bottle do matters in influencing the decision of a buyer Smile They spend so much money on purpose.

The fragrance flacon does matter to me but if it smells pleasant, I can even buy an ugly looking fragrance bottle Laughing

Bottle design is definitely very important.

It is the first thing that catches the attention.

As long as the bottle isn't too hard to spray with, I think I would keep it.
