My 12 year olds first scent

Hello everyone,

I am looking to buy my 12-year-old a nice scent for Christmas and could really do with some advice.

I am widowed so dad isn't around to help with this one and I don't want to choose something that is too "old" for his years.

Any advice gratefully received

Why not let him choose one that he likes?
What's the intended price range?
Young noses are more sensitive than ours, I would go for something light, fresh and inoffensive. What about "Mugler Cologne"?

I'd suggest Nautica Voyage or Cuba Winner

This, 100%. I think you should pick a day to go scent shopping if it's safe to do where you are. Sephora is a great place to start. If in person shopping isn't an option, consider ordering samples through luckyscent, Scent Bird, or Sephora. You two can sit down and discuss which scents he likes and why he likes them.

And yes, Mugler Cologne is a fantastic soapy scent but the musk component is strong and can be polarizing.
