Hello people.
What are your favorite fourgeres? I am really into barbershop fourgeres and always looking for new options. At the present time my favorites are Sartorial, Or Black, Rive Gauche, Yatagan, Jockey Club, Burning barbershop, Paco Rabanne... Bois du Portugal etc.

Any suggestions?

My favorites are Fougere Royale by Houbigant. Acqua di Selva by Visconti di Modrone, Fougere by Borsari, and Agua Lavenda by Antonio Puig. I'm never without a bottle of the last, I use it a lot, particularly in warm weather. I've tried some interesting oriental fougeres recently, notably Jannet El Firdaus by Swiss Arabian and Khaltath by Al Haramain.

My favourite is Rive Gauche pour Homme.

I also enjoy Azzaro pour Homme, Tsar and Jazz.

1818 Signature by Brooks Brothers.

For me, this is THE quintessential barbershop fragrance. See the review here on Parfumo by Colin Maillard - I sent a sample to Shamu1 several years back and he too wrote a great piece on it on his blog, http://pourmonsieurblog.blogspot.com/search/label/Brooks%20Brothers.

If you haven't tried it yet send me a private email, I'll get you a sample. Sadly it's discontinued but can still be found online at reasonable prices (standard bottle is 6oz. and you can score one for about $10oz. on EBay).

You might try these two greats:

Guerlain's "Jicky (Eau de Toilette)"
L'Artisan's "Fou d'Absinthe"
