Capricci by Nina Ricci

I started wearing Capricci in 1965. Wherever I went, people wanted to know what cologne I was wearing. It was available in major department stores in the USA. In the mid-1970’s, I could no longer find it. Nina Ricci was still And apparently is still selling l’Air du Temps, but I never liked it as well as Capricci. Someone told me I could only get it in France, and my son purchased it for me when he was in Paris in 1996. The cost at the time was $75 US dollars. I’ve tried ordering it from USA online retailers only to find that it wasn’t the real thing. Same label, same name, not the same cologne.

Does anyone know where I can obtain the real Capricci? And why would Nina Ricci discontinue selling such a lovely fragrance?
