I would like to ask you what you consider the classiest fragrance in your collection.
Classy meaning
- more special occasion than everyday use
- you feel like you have to dress up in order to be up to it
- smells luxurious, expensive, sophisticated
- smooth, subtle

Please decide for just one scent!
I consider more than one of my scents as classy, however the classiest one is definitely

"Cuir de Russie" by Chanel.

"Rose Barbare"

I don't really like the word 'classy', in general, but using your definition, I'd say that the answer to your question is

Hermès "24 Faubourg"

"Classy" is so subjective.

Isn't nearly everything we discuss about here subjective? So give it a go.

I think I have to agree with Chanel Cuir de Russie Parfum. I think you can only feel underdressed wearing this. Wink

As stated in German Parfumo I do not have any perfume "for special occasions only". I wear them all whenever I feel like it.

However, I define "classy" by the overall impression of the scent and by its price. That being said I would name "Memoir Woman" as my classiest one. Followed by "Tobacco Vanille" by Tom Ford and "Spiriteuse Double Vanille" and "Bois d´Arménie" (both by Guerlain).

For me it's "Samsara"... I have other perfumes that also qualify as classy, but this is the one I feel I have to dress up most for

i would say shalimar, because of the history it holds i guess

My fragrance that most wants, no - orders dressing up is "Ysatis".

I hate to sound predictable because I'm lucky enough to own numerous scents that ( to me ) are outstanding.

If I had to pick just one, it would "Patou pour Homme"

I like my "Shalimar" and my "No 5". Smile

Vecchi Rosetti by Hilde Soliani

( I am very honest, I do not like the classic perfumes )

Thats "Knize Ten" for me Smile

Wow, that's already 3 hits for Cuir de Russie.
I should try Knize Ten again. I only tried it once - and I had already smelled plenty of other stuff. Knize ten seemed sweet and flowery to me. Well, in that state, Bandit was a subtle scent as well...

I think It as to be Extreme by Tom Ford, yeah, without any doubt.

Why am I not surprised by your answer, Cyberboytoy1?

Just got a sample of Memoir Woman - it's SO classy I have no idea where I'm ever going to where it*, but it is divine.
*The only thing I can think of is a sort of ball with women wearing elbow length gloves that doesn't exist outside of certain films
