The Agua Lavanda Review That's Grown Out Of Control
I should have probably started the shower preemptively, just in case. Suddenly my bathroom in the middle of sweltering Beijing felt like a field in Provence: purple all the way to the horizon and hazy blue onwards, sun-drenched, with all the little herbal nuances, the hay, the warm, golden tobacco sweeping around me on an lazy evening breeze. As I inhaled, so grew...

The New Arabians ...

Ehsas Top: Wild Rose, Lime - Heart: Plant Amber - Base: Cedarwood Hmmm ... Plant Amber??? How about plain old Amber created with Vanilla and Benzoin, seeing that 'Amber' as a fragrance note doesn't really exist :). There...

A little rant
have written about my issues over on Fragrantica, but I feel like venting here as well. I had the pleasure to visit San Diego with my sister this past week. It was nice to get away from the bitter cold and bask in the sunshine and 70 degree F weather. I also visited LA for a few hours to see my family, and it was a joy to see them--I wish we could have stayed longer. On my last day, my sister had an earlier flight...

SoCal winter, addendum.
time to go against type. Try a ladylike leather, or a rich, throaty florals. Guerlain Coriolan. Holds warm and cold in the same hand. Not many can do that. Paco Rabanne La Nuit & Scherrer de Scherrer. Big, badassed, old-school chypres. You can get away with more in winter. Lancome Sagamore. Usually...

In The Beginning
first to comprise their perfumes from a liquid which combined fragrant powders with oils. These liquid perfumes were store in bottles called alabastrums. The bottle were named this because they were originally made of alabaster but they were also made of combinations of alabaster and gold.
