...Such speedy responses! You're both correct but Cryptic appears to have arrived first.Gothicheart, Kate Walsh is an American actress, a lot older than Bieber though. I thought the "couple" thing might be misleading as they're not affiliated in any way (it was meant to refer to the perfume names) but I figured there were enough giveaways in the clues to get you to the answer."I do not endorse the perfumes or the brands in this game. I do not judge product quality when an idea presents itself". (Famous Person Quote that you may be unfamiliar with)

...For a faithful crew and male icon you can't go past "Old Spice" by Shulton or perhaps "Old Spice (1963) by Proctor and Gamble, both of which feature the white sea and sky. If it's all blue you're after there's "Old Spice Whitewater".

Rose and Incense № 06 - Incense Rosé - Tauer Perfumes
...DieNase:I own a sample of Le maroc pour elle. I remember it as a big floral, rose and white flowers with a heavy indolic note that put me off. I don't remember it as incensey, but it's a long time ago. Maybe I should revisit it...There is definitely jasmine with the rose and lavender but to me the rest was all cedarwood, patchouli and resins that gave a heavy incense feel.

...You are right Cryptic."Pur Blond" is the fragrance and Pure Blonde the beer. But as for the celebrity, I have made a critical error! Paris Hilton was paid some ridiculous amount, half a million or so, to visit Oz and promote what I now realise was actually Bondi Blonde - a rival entry from a competing brewery. I doubt she sampled the product. Her main role was to choose the "Bondi blonde' for the marketing campaign. Goes to show how (in)effective that bit of marketing was (Bondi Blonde was a flop but Pure Blonde is pretty good for a lo-carb beer). Apologies for the misdirection but you got it anyway.

...Yes, your reasoning was quite convincing, Cryptic. As for that damn five-fingered island, I saw it early on but it didn't seem to have a name....The next one; This home grown brand produces a perfume with the same name as a local beer. I'm hoping they don't smell the same. A certain foreign heiress was handsomely paid to fly across the world to promote the product name. What's the perfume?

Rose and Incense № 06 - Incense Rosé - Tauer Perfumes
...I've not tried "Sideris" but the brand sounds worthy of further investigation.I find "Portrait of a Lady" and "No. 06 - Incense Rose" to be very different. I think of PoaL as rising to the top of a rather crowded rose/patchouli dominant category - a category that includes perfumes such as "Vengeance Extreme" (which I own as it's much cheaper than PoaL, though not as complex), Heeley's "Hippie Rose", Fresh "Cannabis Rose" and ELdO "Rossy de Palma / Eau de Protection". There are many others of greater or lesser quality. Even "Aromatics Elixir" has overlaps in the rose/patchouli genre and then once you add woody or oud notes, another sub-genre is created (Montale "Aoud Roses Petals" being a rose/patchouli/oud combo)."No. 06 - Incense Rose" is another I own and I understand Leathermount's reference to the loud Tauer base accord - it doesn't always work for me in his perfumes. I find Incense Rose to be very resinous and cardamom dominant and less of a dry "churchy" incense or patchouli fragrance. The Tauer that I truly consider to be a rose/incense composition is "No. 01 - Le Maroc pour Elle". Before I'd tried either, I expected Incense Rose to smell like this. It smells exactly like a 'hippy' store crammed with incense, potpourri, Indian textiles, fragrant oils and carved trinkets of exotic wood. There's quite a lot of lavender and cedar (ISO E super - a Tauer favourite) along with the rose, resins, patchouli and incense. It's as if many of his subsequent creations were somehow compressed into a single perfume which manages to be pungent, sweet, dusty and resinous all at the same time. I like the smell of hippy stores but also find them claustrophobic and headache-inducing; thus, after many attempts I find Le Maroc pour Elle, with its nuclear sillage and longevity, to be personally unwearable. I would recommend it for sampling to rose/incense/patchouli lovers though.

...I've had another thought: "Douglas Hannant" by Robert Piguet. There are no reviews on Parfumo but it is tuberose dominant with a fruity/pear top note. Lighter, more modern and wearable than Fracas but again, may be nothing like JC.

...Dulcemio, I'm wondering if Lutens "Fleurs d'Oranger" might be a contender. Having not smelled Juicy Couture, I can't say if it's close enough (Cryptic, you're the Lutens expert!). I mention it because, despite the name, there's more tuberose than orange blossom in it to my nose and it's quite strong and sweet (I don't really detect the listed cumin). I bought it after sampling a few times in store but finally gave it away to my sister (along with Versace Blonde) as she suited them better than I did. There's no caramel or other gourmand excesses though.

...Well I'm sure it's incorrect but I pretty much gave up on the Greece/Italy location and drew a tenuous connection between enclosed sea=Red Sea; boot=maybe the Arabian Peninsula;island/glove=Palm Island Dubai; expensive=Amouage; ancient warriors - yes, withour being specific.

...The glove thing has really thrown me. I keep thinking of the boot as being a reference to Italy. However, my best guess is "Ubar" by Amouage, based on the geographical location, the price tag and the legend of Ubar being a lost ancient city akin to the 'Atlantis of the Sands'.

...I've been thinking about cars - macho, black Italian cars like lamborghini and Ferrari, ones that are well represented through a range of (likely) mediocre macho fragrances.I shall start with "Scuderia Ferrari - Black Signature" a possible brother to 'Ferrari Black" which was released in 1999 at the start of Ferrari's more successful decade.Yeah, I know, incorrect! ..."Beige" it is! I always thought it was an odd name for a fragrance. Over here, to describe something as 'beige' is to imply uninspired blandness. It's a colour associated with safe choices although it's pretty trendy as a neutral decor colour, as long as it's not referred to as 'beige'.The pricey bit referred to Chanel's fashion offerings and the fact that this is part of the more expensive 'les exclusifs' range.Sorry, in hindsight, clues not the best.
