...Today I wore "Hermèssene Vétiver Tonka" and yesterday I wore "Égoïste" and "Tobacco Vanille" (one at a time, not at once).

...This morning I wore "Emporio Armani She" again, later I switched to "Égoïste".

...I can just recommend to those who own these scents - try it! Next time, I'll try Vetiver Tonka + Poivre. Maybe I can boost the longevity of Vetiver Tonka a bit. Also, it is too green and friendly on me (on other people it is smokier). So poivre might add something edgy to it.

...I agree. Also slightly more citric-spicy top-notes. Homme has more sillage, might be too much for the coward. Please try Infusion de Vétiver!

...Today I wore "Hermèssence Poivre Samarcande". Because of the temperatures I decided to sweeten it up slightly by adding just a tiny spritz of "Hermèssence Ambre Narguilé". I'm actually not a fan of layering and consider it useless. Each perfume is intended by the perfumer the way it is. But this combination is really good! Despite of the proportions (3 spritzes Poivre + just a little bit of Ambre) I got more Ambre than Poivre, but this was spiced up, more complex and more elegant due to the poivre. Also a bit airier. Well, Poivre has lots of Iso E Super...

...Today, it must be "Habit Rouge"!

...Today it will be "Emporio Armani She" - a simple but lovely scent, especially the smooth tonkaish drydown...

...Dior Fahrenhei is a wonderful scent. But it would be difficult to wear for me - also because it is so well known - on guys!

...Well, flowers smell great on the flower itself. And not all of them. Some stink - at least to my nose (flower of rapeseed, some white flowers, lily). Many flowers have a very intrusive, overpowering smell. I think that might be what I don't like without generalizing. When it is counterbalanced by some woody resinous stuff, the mixture can be great. After all, it's all about the composition. Tomorrow, I think I'll prefer smelling like a burnt cable insteadt of a flower - I might pull of "fat electrician" - yummy ;)

...Sometimes I wonder if I don't apply enough or if people don't like it and are just too polite to say something. Well, actually I wear fragrance to please myself not to others and don't necessarily want others to smell me - unless I go clubbing. But sometimes it would be nice to have a feedback in order to make sure I don't overapply.I love scents that don't scream "I wear perfume" but just make you smell good, that are subtle and somehow carnal in a way people might think it could be my natural smell that is so sexy - e.g. "Eau Sauvage" or "Déclaration"...
