...I'm copying this nice topic from the women's perfume forum and asking the same question, but for men's fragrances. What non vintage fragrance for men have you tried recently that has had that 'wow' factor for you? One that you could almost certainly see becoming a 'classic' fragrance of the future. One whose passing will be mourned in the same way as the "Fougère Royale (1882)" or more recent vintages from older era's.Some suggestions might be "A*Men / Angel Men" by Thierry Mugler, "No. 02 - L'Air du Désert Marocain" by Tauer Perfumes, or "Terre d'Hermès", just for thoughts.

Summery jasmines?
by Sleuth | Perfume Recommendations
...Chanel "Cristalle (eau de parfum)" has a noticeable jasmine. 20% strong I'd say, but that was too much for me, while I like the rest of the perfume :)Pipette probably means "La Route d'Emeraude (2012)"What about ELdO's "Charogne"? Lily + incense + vanilla. Not jasmine but it's unique :)

Summer vanilla fragrance
by Triffid | Perfume Recommendations
...1 for Chanel "Allure Homme Edition Blanche". I bought a bottle of this for myself last summer, after a suggestion from Sleuth for the Triffid sons. I find it less edible than Sleuth; to me it is more like a zesty, almost mentholated lemon-scented shaving cream with the vanilla giving it smoothness but not...

Summer vanilla fragrance
by Sleuth | Perfume Recommendations
...Chanel "Allure Homme Édition Blanche". It's not an obvious vanilla perfume, but it's so pleasant that I just have to recommend it. It's not masculine at all. Look for the 'blanche' version it smells like lemon pie.

...Nice post. I think sillage is a combination of volume and diffusion, both are important to perfume wearers. I don't mind that 'sillage' is imprecise. Where did you get those official publications?

The Guerlain Aqua Allegoria line: Your favourites?
by Sleuth | Perfumes & Brands
...Sweetgrass:>> Guerlain Acqua Allegoria Limon VerdeSleuth, Bois de Jasmin has done a review, other than that nobody seems to be talking about it.Well I tried it and it isn't great. Most AAs "work" as a simple scent, but Limon Verde doesn't really "work" or do much for me.
