If you could have your own perfume/cologne ?
by Larimar | Perfumes & Brands
...I'm in a 'fundamental' chypré mood at the moment... I would want to push my current obsession Sous le Vent more into a dark dry hard-core chypré direction (base) without losing the brightness and fun of the top and heart - more oakmoss, a slightly more animalic touch plus labdanum partly replacing the patchouli and increasing the overall level I suppose.

...I think I have to agree with Chanel Cuir de Russie Parfum. I think you can only feel underdressed wearing this.

Storing & Organising Your Perfumes
by Larimar | Perfumes & Brands
...I have an antique sort of standing desk with a wooden lid to close everything. It's a chaotic system. I often rearrange things on a 'I need new space' basis. I like opening the wooden lid and see all my 'lovelies' crowded in front of me. :) I have boxes in the basement for back-ups and so forth.

favorite Gourmand note
...Gourmands are often tricky territory for myself, but I agree with a dark, smoky vanilla.

Leather chypres
...Let's not forget Tabac Blond! Its chypré character is still clearly identifiable, although this is not its main thrill for me.

Le Mâle too chawy? Le Mâle (Eau de Toilette) - Jean Paul Gaultier
by Larimar | Perfumes & Brands
...Most of all, I'd say Histoires de Parfums' 1725 Casanova, which has a bit the Le Male for grown-ups feel for me. :D Although there is nothing wrong in principle with Le Male... 'cleverly used' that is.

Which scent would Dorian Gray love ?
by Larimar | Parfumo Community
...I have always felt that Mouchoir de Monsieur would fit Dorian Gray. It's a very traditional Eau-style fragrance, but beguiling and very sexy up close in the base.
