...The reviews system on Fragrantica is completely skewed in all the wrong directions. I spend time and effort testing fragrances, writing descriptive reviews and giving my honest opinion on my scent perception, yet I get no balloons and someone who just wrote "OMG I love this so much. I just got it 10 minutes ago" gets a whole bunch of them.....sigh.... I think I will just post all of my reviews here on Parfumo. People seem to have a greater appreciation of them on here.

...Interesting. Apparently, citrus DOES smell like sweat! Good to know that it's not just all in my head. For a while, I seriously thought that my nose was going crazy because I noticed this resemblance.

...I just ordered "Velvet Flowers" so we will see. I would really like to get "Chocolate Greedy" but I cannot find it for a decent price anywhere on the internet, and unfortunately Fragrancenet no longer carries it. I wish they would because they have great prices for Montales.

...I have a Facebook, but I only use it to check up on my favorite perfumeries and online discounters. I tried joining the perfume boards on Facebook and NONE of them accept my requests, presumably because I look like some sort of a spammer/troll without a proper picture and friends. It's kind of a stupid conclusion of them to jump to, but why else would they deny my requests to join their group? Kind of ridiculous that I can't join just because I don't have any friends, but whatever.

...Does anyone have this yet? If so, what is your impression? I cannot find it in the US, not sure if it's out here or not...

...I got a backup of Shalimar Initial Si Sensuelle. The price for it is extremely reasonable online, so reasonable in fact, that I am tempted to stock up even more! An amazing bargain. The Souflee flanker looks interesting, but I really like Shalimar Initial and its flankers. It's one of my top 5 favorite perfumes (and if you look at my collection, I have a lot of perfumes).

...This is definitely a perfume I would like to try. The notes look interesting and it's refreshing to see a celebrity fragrance from a house other than Coty or Elizabeth Arden (although I like many scents from those houses as well).

...Incense rose is definitely the first one that comes to mind. It is quite exquisite. Another one you may want to try is Amouage Lyric. It is a sweet rose with a definite incense note.

...Most celeb scents have terrible sillage on me, but Violet Eyes by Elizabeth Taylor and Meow by Katy Perry are definite "loves" for me!

...I love the original and all of the flankers I have tried so far! Keep 'em coming! That's just me though. So far, I have Shalimar, Shalimar Initial, and Shalimar Initial Sensuelle. I have tested some of the "route" flankers and they are great, but just too similar to the original for me to spend money on them. That Shalimar Souflee is intriguing though. I'd buy it for the right price ($70 or under).

...I will apologize in advance for those who love "Exceptional".My only question is.... when will they finally discontinue this useless perfume? I can start a bonfire large enough to burn the whole country down with all of the samples Fragrancenet keeps generously giving me of this "Exceptional".

...My most recent one is Swiss Arabian Barq, although I have also swapped a lot of perfumes. I am currently waiting in the mail for Bath and Body Works Midnight Pomegranate.

...Another vote for "Fille en Aiguilles". It's a great scent with a lot of piney green notes. :D It was on my want list for the longest time, because other "pine" scents I tried just seemed too herbal or synthetic.

...I always hear in forums about people getting compliments from random strangers and such. Personally, this rarely ever happens in my own experience. I rarely get any comments regarding my perfumes, let alone compliments. To my bf, they all "smell like powder". And my mom just thinks I have too much. I guess I'm just not a very social person. Or maybe my perfumes just don't smell that good.

...Well, since I am too poor to actually buy Ciel, Honour, or Tobacco Vanille due to the costs of fixing up a trailer I will be moving into, I guess my next buy will be "Nour" by Swiss Arabian which I recently added into the database. :)

...I enjoy the scent of the Mandarin Basil one, but have yet to buy anything from this line. I would really like to though! Whenever I have the money.... :(
