...Only once. Perfume of course. I should not have even opened the site!If there are moving and vibrating advertisements on the page, then I make the window smaller to do not disturb me while I am reading  Childish... I know...

How often do you add a new bottle to your collection?
...What a nice question! For me, it was the hardest time, when I had already 12-15 fragrances. Then I already spent a lot of money for them, but could not stop. Most of my perfumes came in last year, 26 bottles, if I remember well. When I like something, and it will be discontinued or withdrawn in Hungary soon, then it is a no-chance-to-skip situation for me.I never bought blind with one exception: so far I could not find such fragrance of Al Haramain, that is not my taste, so I bravely order from their offer. At the end of last year I reached the present 57 bottle stage - and also reached the point, where a perfume must be completely unique to make me give out money for it. After a certain number of bottles, if you are loyal type, you have to give out money for maintaining the collection on your shelves, since the best perfumes will fade away first  But the more bottles you have, the slower they run out :D

Suggestions for a patchouli-centric fragrance
...Maybe Patchouli by Durance en Provance? It is well balanced."Bois Naufragé" by Perfumerie Generale - with deep green shades.Private Collection: L'Eau Guerriere by Perfumerie Generale - patchouli + cloves, very spicy.Surprisingly L'orpheline (does not contain patchouli), a real goth fragrance, cool."Japon Noir" by Tom Ford - perfect blue/earthy.But if you really like the earthyness of patchouli, but do not like the... nasty side of it, I would suggest to try fragrances, where tonka bean is strong, or other notes remindful of tonka bean. Maybe "Dhajala" by Xerjoff?

Nobile 1942 perfumes
...I have tried "Patchouli Nobile". That was the eldest patchouli I have ever tried. Rum, cocoa, sponge cookies first, and after it a 200 years old forgotten staircase, really special. If you are longing for something unusual, it is a good choice, since there is a stage, when it emits sardine-odor as well  Insense, Rudis sounds so interesting!!!

What's going on?? Why the lifeless forum?
...Apicius:Tar, I am not sure I understand your idea correctly. Are you aware that we do have a poll feature? Everybody who opens a new thread can add a poll with poll questions to it. Just click the poll flag!Oh, that is something new for me! I have never started a new forum topic, but now maybe there will be a special reason :D

Masaki Matsushima
...I would encourage you to give a try to the female categorized fragrances of Matsushima as well."Shiro..." is categorized as for female, but I think it could be easily worn by a gentleman, too. It is a bit synthetic, but it suits perfectly for sport or daily wear.mat; is also quite fresh and unisex, mint, bamboo and tea is quite pleasant there, it smells as if fruit salad and vegetable salad (as aloe vera or cucumber) would be mixed with cocoa.

What's going on?? Why the lifeless forum?
...Honestly, I am much more glad with the present situation, that I would be with talking more but saying less. The saddest thing is, that there are questions and threads on the forum, those have no reply from others. So there could be a box on the main page, where those forum topics could be emphasized.Another idea is, to have votes with questions about perfume (of course I do not mean a quiz, but a poll), and under it people could discuss about the question and their opinion detailed. On other pages with other main subjects, it generated a vivid discussion.

...How much does Opium pour Homme EDP and EDT differ? I had a chance to sniff only the EDT, and am very curious about EDP :) Mentioning Ombre Indigo made me glad!

...I agree, that most of the activities are here outside of forum. E.g. leaving message on the Wall is also a good method of communication, research, souk... Blogs are also rare.

Dead-ringer fragrances as alternative
...Omni:I am fascinated with Love Potion No 9 by Penhaligons. This fragrance pre dates Dune by a year or two and is so similar that Sherapop cannot tell the difference. Now you surprised me. It is quite interesting to me, that LP No. 9 could be similar to Dune, I always felt Penhaligon's more spicy and Dune sweeter.
