Sense of Smell and Skin Chemistry - figment and myth?

...I would like to bring up the fact that only a few months (3-6) have gone by and I'm testing a perfume again to see if I really want it, and this time I have totally different (opposite) review notes on it and not just this perfume because it happens with others.Is this also common?

...I occasionally am given a sample from a retailer that I can find no information anywhere on.What is the best way to ask about it here? Should we have an area to ask others about this Mia perfume?If so, I'll start with Paul Sebastian's PS Tribecca for Women, 1989. This is all I can find on it. I must say it's a very nice floral oriental.

A question to native English speakers: sillage

...I know you all are probably all done with this thread and decisions were made, so I'm only adding my two cents because I can. :wink: After reading through this thread and finding out that sillage really means wake, I think there are definitely better English words to describe this, and projection would be one of them. It took me a while to figure out why you all are using 'sillage' when other sites use 'projection'. When I first saw it here I did look it up in the English dictionary but couldn't find it, but I could find 'silage' and it means to preserve in a silo.

Exploring Fragonard

...So far they have the best samples, and I've gone through a lot. Ten little bottles in a beautiful box.
