...I liked Covet by SJP for a while. It was an unusual perfume that I liked to sniff. I fell out of love with it after my boyfriend said it smells like a grassy a$$. :(Nowadays, I like Hidden Fantasy because it smells like orange cake or wassail, so I wore it during the winter holidays.I have been reaching for Katy Perry's Meow often this weekend. I have taken a liking to vanilla and pear this winter. As boring as some people find the two notes, I find them pleasant. Taylor Swift's Taylor is a soft and sweet (but not too sweet) apricot and sandalwood scent. JLo's Live Luxe is a fresh variety of melons, peach, and pear. The bottle is also very beautiful.Even though I like all of these, I have grown bored of them rather quickly with the exception of Hidden Fantasy and Meow. I am not sure why.
...Around age 14-15 2001-2005 (I'm a baby compared to the classic stuff you all wear...)The Body Shop Oceanus and Gardenia oilsBath and Body Works Sweet Pea (Oooooold bottle/formula with the little nubbies near the neck of the bottle---it was both fresh and sweet) and Warm Vanilla Sugar (also in the old bottle/formula)Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction and Strawberries and Champagne
...Hip Hop Candy has a red velvet roll-on I like. No spray though. :( They sell 50 cent samples if you want to try instead of buying a roll-on.http://www.hh-candy.com/product/fragrance-samples/red-velvet-cupcake-sample/As far as a full perfume or spray, I haven't come across one yet.
...Dalmajen, my best friend's mother loved KL dearly. She had said how she wanted another bottle but it was impossible to find. At the time, I had no idea and volunteered to look for her. Then I went on eBay and saw the prices. The price people have to pay to relive a part of the past is craaaazy.
...A lot of times I am influenced by the ads of new and/or popular fragrances in fashion magazines or flyers from Ulta. I go to a store to test and determine if I like it or not. 50% of the time, I do. Then I wait for a voucher (like $10 off, $20 off, etc) or a % off coupon that is applicable to perfume and may buy it.
...Best: Prada Candy L' Eau (I didn't expect to like this one at all, but it is light, fresh, and sweet)Worst: Jo Malone London's Sugar and Spice collection (all the scents were pretty boring for me after testing multiple times; I expected better given how much I like necatarine blossom and honey)Weirdest: Lôjazz and Lôant (one smelled like moth balls, the other like crushed ants--however I really enjoyed Lôvann)
...To be fair, I did spend a good half an hour decanting 20 mL to two 10 mL vials. The original sprayer broke, so I had to user pliers to take off the "top" and use another sprayer top that leaked occasionally on my fingers. It was a kitchen sink worthy kind of mess, haha.
...Yeh, it came off after some scrubbing. I guess I found it crazy that there was an amber/red/orange color to the juice that's in a blue bottle. Maybe I'm the crazy one.I decanted the perfume in my kitchen sink, and the dishes ended up smelling like Addict when I was cleaning them. Intense indeed!
...I finally decanted a bottle of Dior Addict into a bottle with a working sprayer. When I decanted it, I was surprised to see the juice is a red orange color. Have others noticed this with their Dior Addict as well? I'm a little concerned to wear it because in the decanting process, the tips of my fingers turned orange. I don't want to stain my clothes with it, but maybe the solution is to wear black or brown...
