...Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I also have the shampoo and conditioner, which are wonderful. I usually just use one of the three at any given time, since my hair responds so well. One day while styling my hair I was dealing with major static and dryness and out of desperation I rubbed a teeny tiny amount of the oil through my hair and, voila! Problem solved!

...It's funny that the "old lady" outrage continues ad infinitum. I think the outrage says WAY more about people's attitude toward aging and being old than it does about anything else.Let's face it, perfumes that earn the old lady moniker are, by and large, more refined, more complex, more interesting, more established in the marketplace, and more expensive, than their young lady counterparts.

argan oil
...I am loving argan oil these days. Specifically, Agadir brand (I don't think all brands are the same quality, and maybe there is one even better than Agadir, I don't know.)Argan oil would seem counterintuitive for my hair type (straight, fine, but lots of it) because it tames hair, and I'm always trying to puff mine up. But used very judiciously, it adds shine, bounce, volume and controls static. My hair is color treated and I abuse it with direct heat on a daily basis.

...I generally only spray my tummy and my forearms, so maybe I should try spraying my thighs, since that's even further away from my face. :-)

...Triffid:There are certain trolls, whose accounts have been deleted from perfume communities for bad behaviour and whose comments are now blocked by bloggers, who still pop up in FB groups trying to provoke conflict. Usually such people never want to discuss perfumes, but rather, they always return to the subject of disparaging the behaviour of perfume enthusiasts. The posts are always negative and intelligent debate impossible. As Ricky Gervais recently posted on FB, if you think FB is full of moronic trolls, just go spend some time on YouTube, which makes FB seem downright intellectual (or something to that effect). :D

Re: Facebook is the downfall of cilivilization...ok not real
...NaughtyKitty:It's kind of a stupid conclusion of them to jump to, but why else would they deny my requests to join their group? Kind of ridiculous that I can't join just because I don't have any friends, but whatever.Considering the nature of Facebook, the essence of Facebook, the raison d'etre of Facebook, your lack of invitations makes perfect sense. Just use an avatar and put something in your profile and timeline that expresses your personality and interests, to give people a reason to interact with you. There's no need to disclose personal data.

Quotes.....

... I can certainly try! But while Johnny Depp can fix lots of things, I'm pretty sure this one's a lost cause. After she repeatedly complained about her allergies and sinus congestion, I told her about a natural, non-drug solution that's done wonders for me and she actually said the words "I don't like to try new things." Swear to god.

Idle chit chat: what's the weather like where you live
by Dulcemio | Off Topic
...Thanks, Cryptic. Full disclosure, I'm not personally affected by either of those problems, but I do have family who live near the fire zone. Because of hefty water reserves (thanks to lessons learned from past droughts) and the political/econominc quagmire that mandatory water rationing would create, we aren't there yet. I try to conserve, nonetheless. Hopefully this February or March the rain gods will smile upon us once more.
