...Does beg the question that if many people suffer peanut allergies why they don't ban peanuts? In regard to the perfume industy, in deciding to prohibit the use of certain substances you have to wonder just whose interests are being upheld.
...How to get samples directly from the perfumer? Simple as 1,2, 3 Lola! Choose any/all of the brands mentioned on this thread, go to their website (linked via their Parfumo pages) and look for samples or discovery sets.

...I recently started storing fbs alphabetically by house in basket drawers in a dresser in my bedroom. Works fine except I've already filled them up :roll: My vintage bottles, sizable decants and minis are stored in a small antique cupboard. My samples are in boxes. Love the pantry idea but don't have the space right now.
...I'm not talking about decanters, but ordering directly from the perfumer. For me best experiences so far are with Parfum d'Empire and Neil Morris who earn gold stars for reasonable prices, prompt Internationl delivery, nice hand written notes AND fab fragrances. So who would you recommend?
