Feminine Leather scent

...Siebter:"Tuscan Leather" by Tom Ford. Only to be used by confident women (and men).Maybe "Ombré Leather (2018)" by Tom Ford as a tamer version of this?Nobody mentioned "Cuir pleine Fleur" by Heeley? Such a masterpiece! No really feminine, but can be worn by females. Opens quite unisex, the late drydown leans to the masculine side. But anyway, it is one of the best leathers around I shall say.

Forest and Melancholia scents

...I would say "Interlude Man". Not really wet or mossy, but to me it smells like deep green resins plus incense, and the resins have a forests vibe.

My 12 year olds first scent

...Why not let him choose one that he likes? What's the intended price range? Young noses are more sensitive than ours, I would go for something light, fresh and inoffensive. What about "Mugler Cologne"?

Weekly Scent Discussion# 23: Lavender. Oh, How I love thee

...As you I love A taste of Heaven and Gris Clair. You should definitely try Dior Eau Noire if you can.Mon Guerlain EdP has a nice lavender note. Feve delicieuse by Dior has a good lavender start, a bit fleeting though.Well, Jicky of course

fragrance for office

...I wear almost everything from my collection to the office. Otherwise I wouldn't wear most of my scents at all. I normally have only one scent of the day and don't switch scents after work, that' why.Well, I wouldn't wear leather our to work.

Choosing between 2 fragrances. Which one?

...From my experience, especially thinking back to my own teenage years, as important as the scent itself is the right amount of it. Enough to get noticed but do not overspray and choke everybody. You may experiment with the number of sprays and ask your mates for feedback (not right after spraying but after the scent settled a bit). You may also avoid scents that everyone currently uses, a more unique signature scent that nobody around you wears would be my recommendation. You don't have to spend hundreds of € for niche fragrances. Just also look back in time and to scents marketed to other age groups.I think for example Egoiste by Chanel is a scent that a young guy can totally pull off. Sweet, spicy, woody, seductive. For whatever reason it does not seem to be used a lot, I haven't smelled it on anybody else for many years. The young ladies will most likely not have smelled it ever. You may also try original Fahrenheit by Dior. It is super unique. It was super popular back in the day, but it is rarely used today. If you can rock that, that may also be a winner.

A collection of contradictions

...You may also try Decadence by Marc Jacobs. I smelled it yesterday for the first time. Hadn't it been for recommendations from the fragrance community I wouldn't havet tried it ever because of the borderline kitschy bottle. But the smell is unique and contradictory indeed. It is feminine, sweet, floral, fruity but has some distinct woodiness giving it an almost unisex quality, dark and mysterious.

Re: mid 60's woman, looking for a new signature scent.

...You might try some Parfum de Nicolai. They have some unique stuff, spicy, oriental. If you like youth dew you might try Vanille Tonka. Superb scent, difficult to find (seems out of production) . I ordered mine from Italy. Others like sacrebleu intense may also be worth trying.

A collection of contradictions

...Try "Ombre Indigo". Has nothing to do with those you have tried before. Reading your post I had to think of it. Just out of the blue, no idea why.Truly unisex by the way.

Perfume recommendation for my mum

...If you have no idea what she likes you might either ask or buy a safe, easy fto like scent, if there is such a thing. Thinking something like "Mon Guerlain"
