...Omni I am really baffled by your experience with these two perfumes because when you look at the notes, I would have thought that the Goutal with its Patchouli, Oakmoss,Jasmine, Tuberose, and Vanilla would have killed off Hermes hands down in terms of longevity.The only thing I can think of would be the amount of fixatives each contains.Perhaps Après La Mousson has much more and therefore lasted longer.

What's your ultimate pick-me-up perfume?

...All my Neroli fragrances have this effect.There is something about it that is joyous, energetic, sunny, and puts a spring in my step. :D Jasmine also has a powerful effect on moods (check out clinical trials on it) but I find it mellower and more comforting.Still, very good to inject some positive outlook during those grey winter days.

...What Sleuth said.There is also something called "nose fatigue" and that is you getting used to the scent you are wearing and not noticing it anymore.Others will still smell it on you however, even if you don't.Another thing you can do is spray both on your skin and on your shirt.Perfume remains longer on clothes.

...Having a "which concentration are you reviewing?" question appearing when someone writes a review (With a box to tick for either EdT, EdP etc) is a great idea.The selected concentration could then appear automatically in brackets in the title of the review.It's simple and would make things so much clearer because we all know that many perfumes smell differently in their various guises.
