...Do anyone here know if they use real flowers (extract of flowers) in perfume nowadays? In Grasse they have flower field especially for the perfume industry, but it must be rare as modern perfumes use molecyles and other chemicals mostly to make scents. If used, in which perfumes or brands are using the real flowers?
...Happiest perfume for me is Givenchy's "Amarige" no doubt! I think it's maybe the mimosa in it that gives me a happy feeling, or the perfume is just so perfect flowery in itself. It smells like pure happiness to me.Some of Juicy Couture's perfumes smells like english fudge to me, so I wear that one very often.Third place I can't decide. I like Lancome's "Miracle" because it's fresh and uplifting. And Escada's fruity scents are nice on a sunny day.
...I like to see mine as a perfume wardrobe instead of a collection (even if I am a collector of many other things). I strive to buy fewer things, but things of better quality. For me, a decorative bottle is almost as important as the scent inside. I store my perfumes (and body mists) in a cupboard in my bathroom and some of them on a shelf. I like to discover new perfumes in the stores, and get samples to collect. Thinking of what I like to buy is also fun, so this site is perfect for organizing what i plan to shop next time and so on.
...I like to use scented shower gels from perfume designers, even if they are expensive.I think it's a good idea to buy a shower gel of the perfume you want instead of blind buying a perfume bottle; as it's much easier to finish if it's a scent you didn't like so much. With the shower gels you can enjoy perfume without have it around you all day (especially powerhouse scents)
...I really love Givenchy's "Amarige", it's one of the best perfumes in my opinion.I have tried others, like "Knowing" and feels like I need to wash it off after a while. But "Opium" is good though. So I guess I like more sweet florals and fresher, not too heavy ones.
...I would need some help to buy a christmas gift to my boyfriendHe is 50+ years oldI know he likes "Dior Homme Intense (2011)" and some other (I don't remember)I don't like it so much, beacuse it smells "old" or something...I thought about:"Gucci by Gucci Sport pour Homme""Light Blue pour Homme"And some cheaper onesWhat do you think, do you have any ideas?
