...Perfumes are all about leaving a 'first impression', so I think it is perfectly fine to put those in writing. I don't see why you should wait until your nose has fully adapted to the fragrance and all those surprises of the first wear are long lost.Also I think there is not one review that grasps the fragrance in all its aspects as every opinion is completely subjective. It is the variety of impressions and experiences of different people that provides the most insight. So please just jot down whatever impression the perfume gives you and never delete a review again :)

...Hi @Davomco and welcome to Parfumo! Indeed the tracker is very useful. You can find it when you open the Assistant menu. I'll add a screen shot of where to find that.The tracker does require input from your side before it is useful. That means that you need to add perfumes to your collection and tag them as "wearing today" on a regular basis. I'll add another screen shot for that.Have fun! ✌

...My journey has also had a few dull moments. That changed when I stopped randomly trying whatever came on my path. By giving some direction to my journey I kept trying perfumes that were relevant to me. In between I changed direction now and then because of what I tested and they opened my eyes to something new. So I focused on specific perfumers, genres fit to my taste (greens, animalics, florals, chypres) or more occasion-based selections (formal wear, office-appropriate).Of all perfumes I test I think around 20-25% becomes a purchase. Most of them I sell later on to rotate my collection and to keep it a manageable size. I did end up with a collection that is growing more and more meaningful to me.

...Hi there, I keep most of my boxes too. The really precious ones I store in their box. But yeah, when the bottle is pretty, it deserves to be seen! Another reason why I keep the boxes is because I might sell some of my perfumes after a while - to unclutter my collection. I assume buyers prefer perfumes in their original box; at least I would.
