LAYERING a PERFUME - LITERAL MEANING

LAYERING a PERFUME - LITERAL MEANING 2 years ago

Hi!

On the website, where you have the option 'LAYER' (& 'CLASSIFY', 'RATE',...), what does this mean EXACTLY?

In the bracket 'LAYER', which perfume is meant to be inserted in there?

The one, that'll be on the skin FIRST (maybe you even let it dry a bit) OR the perfume, that will be put OVER?

Example:

If you are on the site, where the fragrance from Chanel - EGOISTE PLATINUM - is described and you click on 'LAYER' & write into the bracket 'Molecule 01' from Escentric Molecules, what does that LITERALLY mean?

'Molecule 01' DIRECTLY on the skin as the FIRST, maybe even already a bit dried fragrance OR EGOISTE PLATINUM from Chanel is the FIRST fragrance (on the skin) and 'Molecule 01' is sprayed OVER the Chanel fragrance?

Sorry, that this got me a bit confused, English is not my 1st language.

Thank You for the support or better said help with an answer.

Regards.

Denis

P.S.

Posted this topic in TECHNICAL SUPPORT & Feedback but got for 4 days no answer at all. ☹️

So again:

Could You please help me answer my question? 🙏

Thanx in advance.

Not sure but I think it is just like your personal preference.
Everybody does it in a different way and it depends on the fragrances.

But it is a really good point and maybe a good feature for the platform.
